These upcoming months are filled with doom and joy!
In a couple of weeks K and I have to fly to Sydney to attend Main Animania for the World Cosplay Summit finals. I've never been before! This should be exciting..
I'm really happy with how I am progressing with my costume in terms of skill..it's a big step up for me and I've really levelled up and learnt crazy new skills.

Recent Convention Lowdown Hootenanny Shenanigans:

Supanova: Was awesome! I can't really be bothered saying more than that. To sum up the comp in a nutshell, the video guys did an awesome montage set to the live song recording done by our awesome MC John (best MC ever ^_^)

Animania Sydney: I've never been to Sydney, let alone a convention in Sydney! Pop my cherry!
We're also really flattered to have been asked to host the Props and Armour panel there! Thank you ~Wakaleo!! So come along and hear such stories of how I battled Qantas Airline to bring my Marluxia scythe of doom over..and then some!!!

Manifest: This year's Manifest is going to feel a bit like Wai-con because almost everyone I know from Perth is going!! Watch out for the Perthian Invasion Melbournia!!
Amaranth: C.C from Code Geass (R2)
Friday: George from ParaKiss, then changing into Soubi from Loveless for shoot with awesome peeps!
Saturday: Konoe from Lamento (uke of doom.. @.@)
Sunday: Crisis Core Cloudypants (with smexy K as absolutely winful Zackboy!)

Tokyo Game Show:
Yeaaaaaaaaarrrrghhhhh Japan like one week later after Manifest!! I won't even have to unpack!!
Cosplaying Shiki from WEWY and Cloudypants!
Will post pics from Shibuya! xD
I also want to run around the Red Light District as Cloud and buy dodgy items from vending machines ;D

After Japan..I will be heading to the UK with family! We plan to tour some castles and head over to France for a bit too..
Apart from the obvious tourist activities, shopping and attempted stalkery of David Tennant, Noel Fielding and John Barrowman..can anyone recommend anything else to check out while I am there apart from being laughed at cos we have Australian accents? It would be most appreciated!

Wai-con 09:
I recommend everyone come over for Wai-con and experience the awesome that is WA cons. *points at venue*
Not sure of days yet, but will cosplaying Link in a big Super Smash Bros group and then Li Syaoran from Cardcaptor Sakura (and helping the lovely lolita Sanyu make her Sakura <3)

And then I move to Melbourne!
And then it's Anime Expo!!
And then it's San Diego Comic Con!!

And then I might wind down my cosplaying..if my head hasn't exploded first! xD
